Russian Court Sentences 2024 Attackers at Crocus City Hall for Life

(MENAFN) A Russian court has handed life sentences to four individuals responsible for the 2024 attack at the Crocus City Hall concert venue, according to reports.

The Second Western District Military Court confirmed that Shamsidin Fariduni, Dalerjon Mirzoev, Muhammadsobir Faizov, and Saidakrami Rachabalizoda were found guilty of carrying out the assault. A total of 19 people were on trial, with the remaining 15 charged with aiding and abetting the perpetrators.

In March 2024, Fariduni, Mirzoev, Faizov, and Rachabalizoda launched a coordinated attack on civilians attending a concert at Crocus City Hall in Krasnogorsk, Moscow Oblast. The assailants entered the venue and opened fire, resulting in the deaths of 149 people and injuries to over 600 attendees from gunfire and burns, according to official figures.
